DAWSON LIVING | NEUTRAL CLASSIC LIVING ROOM
Cozy~in~Love Spaces transformed a dark living room into a classic, neutral and bright space! We love repeat clients and tied the Aleah Dining Room into the space by carrying over touches of navy and plenty of greenery.
If you haven’t seen our reveal of the Aleah Dining Room, here is a picture (before the carpet was ripped out!). Check out a couple of before photos of the living room as well.
Our client has a classic, traditional style and wanted a neutral color palette, incorporating colors from the Aleah rug in the dining room. Seating was important, as the L-shaped sofa was not very conducive to easily getting in and out of it to sit comfortably with guests for entertaining. A re-design of the furniture lay-out was also needed to determine the best use of the space, as well as to help define the living room from the dining.
The client had their eye on a traditional, rolled-arm sofa from Bassett. Custom fabric and legs were chosen and the end result was a beautiful and comfortable spot to sit!
Bunching tables were the perfect addition to display coffee table books, including Wine Dogs (because wine-not!).
Additional seating to cozy up by the fire or read balanced out the seating arrangement.
Cozy~in~Love Spaces also helped to style the open shelving in the kitchen with fresh flowers, texture, and natural woods.
Artwork replaced the clock in the living room, including art from local artist Britt Vasina and Fox Hollow Studios.
Overall, the living, dining, and kitchen all flowed together and the client was very pleased with the classic look! Comment below your fav part of the design! Professional photography by Braevin.
