COZY REBRAND

Cozy in Love Spaces is unveiling our new rebranding and sharing our story behind the brand!

The Beginning: Cozy in Love Spaces was founded in December of 2017, after I completed the Interior Design Foundational program at the Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland, Oregon. I went on to obtain my Master’s as well at Heritage, in order to bring designs to life with 3D modeling for my clients and nail down my design process. It was my big leap to follow my interior design passion!

I am blessed with good friends who believed in me and chose me to design their living rooms, home offices, and a guest bathroom. I was lucky and honored to win the Oregon Home Mag Design award for the Damask Stunner in 2018 and was off to a great start in my design career!

I would say that at the beginning I didn’t really know what the “brand” of Cozy in Love Spaces was and what made my designs different from any other designer. Our first logo was a “C” and an “L” drawn in a heart that I drew and my brother helped digitalize on the computer. I picked the color gold because I thought it radiated some feeling of “royalty” and “expensive things” perhaps, lol. I also remember my first headshots by the talented Elizabeth Hite Photography. Although beautiful, I didn’t know whether they really spoke to who I was as a designer (besides the really great cheetah print boots), since I hadn’t really defined that myself.

Who Cozy in Love Spaces is Today: As part of the rebranding process, I thought about what sets me apart, what is my “aesthetic”. I feel like if you scroll through my Instagram page (shameless plug, give us a follow!), you will get a little sense of it.

Cozy in Love Spaces has worked with Braevin since the beginning as our very talented interior design photographer. We love how she photographs all of our projects, with the perfect eye! We knew looking at her portfolio that we wanted her to help us create our new logo and branding.

Check out the Mood Board created, based upon our Rebranding Pinterest Boards that Braevin interpreted. We considered color inspo, typography, logos, and layouts.

Once a first round of feedback was given, Braevin very thoughtfully summarized who Cozy in Love Spaces is and what our brand means:

  • inviting

  • comfortable

  • personal

YAAAAASSS, it was PERFECT and aligned with how we strive to “Design spaces in your life with impact + heart”!

The rebranding process has been exciting with lots of behind the scenes designing of custom products (COMING SOON!), our business cards, notebooks, canvas totes, cups…and a branded, cozy sweatshirt!

We are so proud to display and share with all of you our new branding and invite you to help us celebrate as we approach almost four years of designs! I know I have grown in my business, design aesthetic, styling and truly love designing a space where a family is able to enjoy and love. I do believe that your home impacts an individuals’ state of mind and health and we want to help bring some peacefulness to it with your cozy surroundings.

Now enjoy some behind the scenes captures of our rebranding, as well the unveiling of the final Cozy in Love Spaces logos and branding!
