Wilshire Living Room

The Wilshire Living Room and Chapman Entryway were designed cohesively to provide a PNW family a cozy space.  The neutral color palette pops with the French Gray custom Built-in as the focal point.  Traditional, Victorian, and Parisian touches were brought together with mixed textiles including leather, wood, brass, and velvet. 

The Wilshire Living Room was designed to provide a cozy, traditional space for a young family to host family and friends in.  The French Gray custom built-in provided a focal point with its subtle pop of color to the overall neutral palette, as well as much-needed storage.  Mixed textures were utilized throughout, including leather, pine wood, mango wood, brass, polished nickel, wool, velvet, and rattan.  Custom seating in children and pet-friendly fabrics were a must, including the traditional Ivestor chesterfield, Hoyt chair, and Boyd swivel glider.  Greenery, art, throws, and custom pillows brought touches of cozy into the space.  Finally, statement lighting provided a warm glow during rainy PNW evenings, perfect to curl up and read a book while kicking up one’s feet onto the Topanga footed stool, complete with a vintage textile and signature black stitching.
